Deposit and Refund Policy:

Payment

• 50% of the value of the stay is required at time of booking,
• the balance of the payment is required at check-in.

Cancellation

• If cancellation is more than 14 days prior to arrival date, the deposit will be refunded less a $50 administration fee.
• If less than 14 days, the deposit is non-refundable unless the Villa is re-booked if we can rebook, we will refund the deposit less the $50 administration fee.

Refunds

• If a refund is applicable this payment will be made to the credit card provided at the time of making the deposit or directly to the bank account that a deposit was received from (in the case of direct deposits). We cannot make refunds to a different account than that used for payment.

Privacy Policy

To ensure that we treat this personal information professionally and privately, our policy is that we will:

• Only use credit card details for the purpose of receiving payment for accommodation services provided or for the purposes of paying for damages as outlined in our Terms & Conditions.

• Use the name and address information for direct marketing as Lakeview Luxury Retreat and we will not provide it to 3rd parties for any purpose outside of assisting Lakeview Luxury Retreat with marketing.
• Only use identifying information (such as drivers licence and vehicle registration) in the case of fraud or other criminal activity, in which case the information will only be provided to members of law enforcement agencies.
• Not divulge the names of anyone staying at Lakeview to any other party.
• Provide training to any employees with access to this information in respecting the privacy of guests
• Honour the wishes of any guests that opt to not receive marketing information from Lakeview Luxury Retreat.

Use of Our Facilities:

We have created Lakeview Luxury Retreat, as premium bed and breakfast accommodation for the use and enjoyment of paying guests. We have worked hard to provide facilities that will ensure that our guests stay is comfortable and enjoyable.

We expect and require our guests to respect our facilities which are part of our home.

Accordingly, in common with other bed and breakfast operations the following conditions apply for use of our facilities:

1. Use by Paying Guests Only

Our facilities are for the use and enjoyment of paying guests only.

If you wish to invite another person/s to visit you during your stay you need to make arrangements to do so with us as we may incur additional costs (both directly and through wear and tear) if additional people use the Villa facilities and grounds.

2. No Smoking

Lakeview is surrounded by pastures and gardens. For the safety of guests, neighbours, livestock and wildlife, Lakeview is a strictly non-smoking property. Smoking is not permitted inside or outside the Villas and additional cleaning costs resulting from smoking will be charged to the guest.

3. Take Reasonable Care

All care is to be taken when using anything in the Villas and while in the grounds. Important Safety and Emergency Information is provided in the Villa. It is a condition of booking that all guests read and understand the important safety information that is provided and to take all reasonable care during their stay.

4 Respect for the Facilities and Other Guests

The Villas and grounds are part of our home. We would appreciate it if you respect them as if they were your own. Also respect the privacy of other guests and their enjoyment of the property by keeping noise in the grounds to a minimum.

5. No Animals

Lakeview is not pet friendly. Please do not allow inside any animals that may visit the Villa.

6. Damages

The guests are responsible for any damage caused through their actions to the property or its contents during occupancy.

7. Clean and Tidy Condition

The Villa is to be left in a clean and tidy condition. Please place all rubbish in the bins provided, wipe kitchen surfaces with the cloth provided, and either rinse your dishes & glasses and place them in the dishwasher or hand wash them in the sink with the cleaning detergent provided.

Please do not place the wooden cutting board in the dishwasher.
